In a word our community is a place of resilience. Having endured one of the worst incidents of racial violence in American history in the 1921 burning of Black Wall Street, north Tulsa continues to grapple with the ongoing legacy of systemic oppression.
We are an underserved community struggling with the many challenges of material poverty. While there is a deep well of historic Christianity in our neighborhoods, many people have drifted away from the faith--especially young people.
Through our network of partnerships, our goal is to make disciples of Jesus through a comprehensive approach to our targeted geographic area.
